7 Days Exploring Greece with HDI Explore World 2024!

Greece, a Southeastern European country rich in history and culture, is also famous for its stunning natural beauty.

No wonder it became the top destination for HDI Explore World 2024. Let’s take a look at the excitement from this year’s unforgettable journey!

Day 1

After a long flight, the excitement of the HDI Explore World 2024 winners didn’t fade—they were ready to explore the beauty of Athens right away. The journey began at Syntagma Square, followed by a visit to the Panathenaic Stadium, built for the first modern Olympic Games in 1896. Participants were also taken to see historical buildings that have stood for hundreds of years.

After sightseeing, they enjoyed a welcoming lunch, followed by free time exploring the charming Plaka district. The day ended with a lovely dinner at Rouanthai Restaurant.

Day 2

The fun continued on the second day. The morning was free for participants to relax, then they gathered for a special lunch. Dressed in shades of white and beige, participants dined at Dionysos Zonar’s, with the majestic Acropolis in the background.

This architectural complex is a universal symbol of classical civilization and one of the greatest legacies of Ancient Greece. After plenty of photo moments, the group returned to the hotel and strolled down Ermou Street.

Day 3

On the third day, the group flew to Santorini. Upon arrival, they had lunch at Tokyo Joe Santorini, then enjoyed free time in Oia, a cliffside village with breathtaking views of the volcano and Thirassia Island. The settlement dates back centuries and still holds remnants of a Venetian castle.

Day 4

Day four brought even more excitement with a Greek cooking class. Afterwards, participants visited the old town of Pyrgos and strolled along the stunning Black Sand Beach of Perissa. The day ended with a cozy dinner at Aquarius Restaurant.

Day 5

The fifth day featured an adventurous tour to the Old Harbour via cable car, followed by a Caldera Cruise exploring Palia Kameni, Nea Kameni, and the hot springs.

After a fulfilling lunch, participants visited Golden Street and enjoyed views along the Caldera Rims. Dressed in pastel-colored outfits, the evening concluded with a scenic dinner at Pyrgos Restaurant, Thira, overlooking the spectacular caldera.

Day 6

In the morning, participants flew back to Athens from Santorini and were taken shopping at the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet. The evening ended with a delicious dinner at Wok Dragon Restaurant.

Day 7

On the final day, participants enjoyed last-minute shopping at branded stores near the hotel. They also visited Golden Hall, a luxurious shopping center known for fashion, innovation, and modern lifestyle. After the shopping spree, the group headed to the airport for their flight back home.
