Beautiful Switzerland! An Unforgettable Journey with HDI

It wasn’t just a dream — participants of HDI Explore World 2025 truly experienced the fresh mountain air, crystal-clear blue lakes, and breathtaking classical towns of Switzerland from October 1–9, 2025.

The journey began in Geneva, a charming city by the lake. While enjoying the crisp air and a distant view of the Alps, participants explored the city’s landmarks, passing by the United Nations headquarters, elegant European-style buildings, and the iconic Jet d’Eau, a giant fountain that has become the symbol of Geneva.

The adventure continued to Montreux, a peaceful and romantic town on the shores of Lake Geneva. The legendary Freddie Mercury statue stood witness as participants captured beautiful moments with the snow-capped mountains and shimmering lake bathed in the golden light of sunset.

The Beauty of Zermatt

On the third day, the group headed to Zermatt, a picturesque car-free village where the air feels as pure as new dreams. From here, they could see the majestic Matterhorn, the symbol of Switzerland and the inspiration behind the Toblerone chocolate logo.

Participants enjoyed their free time strolling along Bahnhofstrasse, browsing local souvenir shops, and tasting authentic Swiss chocolate. The combination of stunning scenery and warm hospitality made Zermatt an unforgettable stop.

The Scenic GoldenPass Train

The next day, participants boarded the GoldenPass Panoramic Train, one of the most beautiful train routes in the world and even better, in first class! Through the large glass windows, they admired endless views of lush valleys, blue lakes, and charming wooden villages scattered across the Swiss countryside.

Upon arriving in Interlaken, they took photos with the magnificent Jungfrau Mountains as the backdrop, then continued to Lauterbrunnen, a valley village famous for its 72 waterfalls, including the mesmerizing Staubbach Falls.

A Warm Evening in Grindelwald and an HDI Surprise

The following evening, participants enjoyed a cozy dinner and stayed overnight at Sunstar Alpine Hotel, Grindelwald. The fairytale-like village, with its wooden chalets and cool alpine air, offered stunning views of Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau mountains.

And just when everyone thought the trip couldn’t get any better, HDI revealed its special surprise — a Helicopter Ride over the Swiss Alps! Announced just one day before, the excitement was indescribable. The next morning, under clear blue skies, the group flew over the three legendary peaks — Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau — and even landed on a glacier to touch the eternal snow of the Alps.

“This was our first trip to Europe, and unbelievably, the first country we explored was Switzerland! We never imagined flying in a helicopter above the Alps — it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience,” shared Andi and Denaya.

From Mount Titlis to Lucerne

Later that day, the journey continued to Mount Titlis, offering breathtaking views, from the highest suspension bridge in Europe and the Titlis Glacier Cave to the thrill of lunch above the clouds. It wasn’t just about the scenery or the menu, but the shared pride and joy that reflected on every participant’s smile.

Next stop: Lucerne, a charming lakeside city. Participants enjoyed free time strolling through the old town, shopping, and visiting the iconic Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument.

Stoosbahn: A Ride to the Sky

One of the most unique experiences awaited in Stoos. To reach the village, participants rode the Stoosbahn, the world’s steepest funicular railway with a 110% gradient! As the train climbed higher, the sweeping views of green valleys and alpine peaks made it feel as if they were ascending to a land above the clouds.

A Heartfelt Closing

This extraordinary journey concluded with an elegant Special Dinner, filled with laughter, stories, and gratitude. Every seat in the room belonged to achievers who had turned their dreams into reality and were already setting their sights on the next HDI Explore destination.

The trip to Switzerland with HDI wasn’t just a holiday, it was a celebration of hard work, dreams, and perseverance. They’ve proven that dreams can take you to the top of the Alps.
